This is a news story from BBC, about Jade Jacobs-Brooks, of Harlow, Essex, who was born in September 1991 to British parents, during a holiday in Spain and due to a mix-up she does not have a valid Spanish birth certificate.
Jade
- Is unable to register her birth in the UK and is unable to get a passport.
- was turned down for a Saturday job because she was unable to prove her ID.
- And her parents have tried for 16 years to get the necessary paperwork.
- Has to take the Life in the UK citizenship test !
To think that I was unhappy about having to do this test !!!!
