There is pass mark in taking the Life in the UK Test just like any other tests and exams. The pass mark is 75% which works out as 18 out of 24 correct answers in a 45 minute test. At the end of the test session, the examinee will be given a Results Notification Letter which will inform the examinee whether it’s a successful exam or not. If an examinee passes the test the test supervisor will give the examinee a pass notification letter.
This pass notification letter needs to be signed and stamped by the test supervisor before leaving the exam centre with the full understanding that the examinee received the correct result notification letter. If for some technological reason or another Result Notification letter cannot be printed the Ufi will send this to the exam centre with the understanding that the examinee has to return to get it with some form of approved identification. The exam centre locations are conveniently located around the United Kingdom.
For a complete list of all these exam centres it can be found on the Life in the UK Test website. This pass notification letter contains information such as the test date, test supervisor, centre location, and unique ID number.
The pass notification letter should be attached to upon completion of application for citizenship or indefinite leave to remain in the United Kingdom. All these documents should be sent to the Home Office online as these needs to be submitted as soon as possible. The Home Office will retain all these information from the test centres for a certain period of time.
