For someone who failed the Life in the UK Test, taking the test again is a definite. There is a minimum waiting period in taking the test again. That minimum waiting period is 7 days. There is no limit to the number of times that one person can take the Life in the UK test, doing so though is time consuming and expensive.

The best thing though is to read and review the “Life in the United Kingdom” handbook and do some online exercises that simulate the actual exam. A search in Google will yield a lot of websites that cater to the Life in the UK Test. The result notification letter will give feedback on areas which need certain attention and further review. Alternatively a review on English would also be advisable as the test is only available in English, Welsh, or Scottish Gaellic.

Since English is the most accessible language of these 3 and the most universally common and easy to learn. Apart from reading books and taking sample exams online, review classes on local community colleges are available. Asking for advice from someone who has taken the exam on what topics to concentrate on is also a plus but asking for the specific questions would become cheating though so therefore out of the question. Doing all these to enhance ones preparedness in taking the Life in the UK Test would improve ones chances in acing this 24 item exam and it would also do good to an examinee’s confidence.
