Life in the UK test is the British citizenship test that was introduced in 2005, which is a mandatory test for people who are aiming to be British citizens. The purpose of the test is to make sure that if a person wants to hold a British passport and live in the country should be equipped with the proper knowledge of the country’s culture and customs. The duration of the test itself is 45 minutes which encompasses topics like history, culture and society of the UK. Several organizations or companies offer services in preparing for the test. Immigrants or test takers are welcomed to join any of these centers but must be willing to pay their fees which is different for each center depending on the type or extent of preparation they offer.

During the test process, if any of the applicants are not satisfied or have any feedback on the service rendered to them, they can file their complaints first to the test centre manager of the Life in the UK Test Centre where the applicant took the test. The applicant should then expect to receive a letter as a response to the complaint within five business days. If in the event that the applicant is still unsatisfied or hesitant to file the complaint with the test centre, then he or she may send a written complaint to:

It is important to note that only written and sent complaints will be entertained. Going to the address above is not advised since there will be no one to attend to the complainant. Expect a written response in 5 days from the day the letter reached the address mentioned.

In the event that there may be interruptions due to emergency situations or repairs or failures in telecommunications, neither the Ufi nor the test centre will be liable to any kind of losses whether it be direct or indirectly related to the service interruptions or the test.
